Day 1. Athens – Welcome to the Capital of Greece
Athens is a dynamic city that offers a glimpse of the ancient world alongside the constant movement of contemporary life. Fifth-century marble pillars, 19th-century Neoclassical architecture, and modern galleries trace the heritage of Greece in the capital. Transferring to your accommodation in the afternoon, you may spend the rest of the day acclimating to the lively atmosphere. You may stroll the narrow cobblestone streets of Plaka, bright with florals and charming tavernas, introduce your palate to Mediterranean flavors on a self-guided culinary tour, and enjoy the historic comforts of Athens when you arrive.

Day 2. Athens – Acropolis and Food Tour

The antiquity of Athens permeates every corner of the ancient city center. Today you will tour historic districts and the famous landmarks that reveal this antique charm. Walking from Syntagma Square you will pass the old Hellenic Parliament to neighborhoods in the shadows of the Acropolis. You will continue up the rocky outcrop to the ancient citadel, with sweeping views of the cityscape, surrounding hills, and the Saronic Gulf. Exploring the crumbling ruins of the Acropolis and the Parthenon, you will take a trip through time that reflects the rise and fall of Ancient Greece. Each food walking tour includes mouth-watering food tastings from the various specialty and food shops that we will pass along the way on a different “off-the-beaten-path” gastronomical route around central Athens. A tour you surely do not want to miss while you are in Athens.

Day 3. Mykonos – Mykonos Free Day

After breakfast you will transfer to the vibrant Greek island of Mykonos. The Cycladic island in the Aegean Sea boasts glamorous
resorts overlooking the azure waters, breathtaking beaches with golden sands, and a spirited nightlife with chic bars, trendy cafés, and colorful dance clubs. Today you will explore the treasures of Mykonos Town, weaving through the labyrinth streets to discover the island’s history and contemporary charms. In the evening you may join the festivities at dazzling restaurants on the main strip or visit a quiet village to tuck into traditional Mediterranean mezze.

Day 4. Mykonos – Explore Greek Mythology on Delos and Rhenia Beach

This Cruise departs from Mykonos every day at 10:30 am Boat arrives on the island of Rhenia at aprox 11:15 am, where you will have time to swim sunbathe and enjoy the homemade Greek lunch. 2 pm departing for the famous Island of Delos to visit the archaeological site (12 € entrance). If you don’t want to see Delos your captain will also give you the opportunity to visit another beach near Delos and continue swimming while the rest of the group explores Apollo’s birthplace. 4 pm departure back to Mykonos.

Day 5. Santorini – Crescent Cliffs

The new day arrives and brings with it the fabulous light bouncing off of the reflective water. After breakfast, you will have a private transfer to the marina where you will board a hydrofoil and cruise your way to Santorini. The most celebrated island curls in a crescent shape around the vibrant caldera. The cliffs are tall over the sapphire water as you disembark the boat. In the short distance, you can see the
rising peak of the volcano that has created and shaped Santorini’s gorgeous landscapes over time.
A semi-private transfer will greet you at the harbor and take you to the sensual seclusion of your hotel. The architecture is no less than picture-perfect: whitewashed walls with cobalt blue roofs that decorate the precipice; it’s almost like you have stepped into a painting. Your luxurious room gives you an open vista to the lush water below, the edges of the volcano’s rim, all the way to the horizon. Canaves, the view, and the soft trickle of water from the infinity pool add up to paradise.

Day 2. Heraklio Knossos – Archeological Museum – City/Food Tour – Cooking Class

Today you will visit the Palace of Knossos. The Palace of Knossos is one monument you must see in Crete. Built 3500 years ago!

After we drive in Heraklio and you have the chance to admire Minoan culture at the archaeological Museum.

After the Museum we will start the walking food tour.

We walk on the streets of the city and tasting unique flavors that will elevate your palate to heaven!

 In the evening we will do the cooking class. After the cooking class, you will sit down and enjoyed the meal you’ve learned to cook, accompanied by local wine.

Day 3. Agios Nikolaos – Elounda-Spinaloga

We will drive along the north coast of the island and get an amazing view of the Selinari gorge on the way to the Elounda.

Elounda’s harbor, known as the Gulf of Korfos, is a natural, beautiful lagoon which is bordered by rugged peninsulas, and with the island of Spinalonga.

Let’s head to fascinating Spinalonga Island or just “The Island” according to Viktoria’s Hislop book.  For decades from 1913, it was a leper colony serving the whole of Greece. Its small inner network of run-down streets and houses, abandoned by Turkish occupants at the end of the previous century, became home to the so-called “living dead”.

After walking ta the Spinaloga we drive to Ag. Nikolaos.

Different to all other towns in Crete, Agios Nikolaos.

The town’s graphic and has beautiful Lake and port. Its unique features, start with the lake (“Voulismeni”), a folklore-inspiringly deep body of water which is connected to the sea by a narrow inlet.

Day 4. Rethymno City Tour – Geni Gave – Lunch/Cheese Making Class

Our first break is the city of Rethymnon, the capital city of the region. It bears traces of the many different periods of its long history.

A beautiful fine, sandy beach surrounds the city. During the Venetian occupation, the city was considered to be the commercial and cultural center of Crete. Byzantine churches stand alongside the Turkish minaret and characteristic stone Venetian buildings show the traditional character of the city.

You can visit the castle of Fortezza, built on the hilltop that overlooks the city, Lotzia which is an archaeological museum, the Rimondi Fountain, the remains of the Venetian fortifications and several residences characteristic to the Venetian architectural style. Walk the narrow streets with hundreds of small tourist shops.

 After we drive in the maintenance of the Rethymno area we will have lunch in one of the famous taverns in Crete with real Cretan food. Here also you have the opportunity to learn about the cheese production process!

Day 5. Wine Tour and Olive Oil Tasting – Olive Oil and Tree Museum

Drive through the beautiful Cretan mainland scenery to the Kydonia Mountain. We will visit a traditional winery. They will sit in a beautiful olive grove and sample a fleet of local wines including Vidiano and Muscat of Spinas as well as some international wines such as Grenache Rouge, Syrah, and Mourvedre.

We will visit the Olive Tree Museum. They will see the oldest olive tree in the world, one of 14 classified as Monumental Olive Trees in Crete, aged an estimated 3,000 years.

We will drive to a different winery in Kissavos Mountain, where their Cretan wine tasting experience continues. They will taste a new fleet of wines consisting of local varieties including Vilana, Vidiano, and Assyrtiko, accompanied by food comprising local products. Then they will visit an olive oil factory owned by the same family, where they will learn about extra virgin olive oil production.

Day 6. Chania City Free Day

You have a free day to spend in Chania. Chania is a scenic city that combines the strong traditional color of living history with the virtues of a modern city. The traces of all cultures and nations that dominated the city in the past are more than obvious as the city is a living museum where architectural styles and cultural attitudes have been harmonically blended.

Visit the Chania town market dating from the 1900’s – it is a cross-shaped gallery that houses over 65 food stores, presenting fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy products, bread, legumes and anything else you may like, such as cafés, restaurants, and shopping, to the old town of Chania.

DAY 2. SANTORINI SUNSET BOAT TRIP

After your pick up from the hotel, you will be transferred to the port – A shared minivan transfer is provided to bring all participants from the hotel to the magnificent Ammoudi Bay to embark the boat. At the end of the tour, a transfer will be provided back to your hotel.
Admire the Red Beach – One of the most famous beaches of Santorini. The Red Beach surprises everyone with its gorgeous dark red rocks of different shades creating an unexpected contrast to the deep blue of the sea.
Be captivated by the White Beach – Indulge the stunning rocks at a close distance from the shoreline and dip into the Aegean Sea right from the boat. Not in the mood for swimming? Take some great photos, instead! The Black sandy beach with its’ white stones makes a perfect setting for your pictures. The only access to this beach is from the sea, so enjoy it!
Take snapshots of the Indian Rock – Years of erosion have carved what appears to be an image of an Indian face on that rock. Will you see it? This natural wonder attracts many people and has become a popular site.
See the volcano of Santorini up close as you sail by the island of Nea Kameni. Many wonderful photo opportunities here.
View the Hot Springs – Hot iron and sulfur-rich water jets from the depths of the Earth to create an SPA effect. For the brave and adventurous, a splash into these waters is an exhilarating experience!
Enjoy sailing along Caldera – the cliff side of Santorini. From the sea, you can snap unusual photos of Santorini’s geological changes that occurred on this island through millions of years.
Enjoy a full BBQ meal on board –  Pork chops or chicken fillet, traditional Greek mezedes, Greek salad, Pasta salad, bread, fresh fruits and an open bar with wine, ouzo, refreshments, and water.

DAY 4. ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF AKROTIRI IN SANTORINI

You will have the opportunity to visit one of the most prominent archaeological sites in Santorini – and one of the most important archaeological sites in the Aegean – is Akrotiri and the findings of the excavations that began in 1967.
Akrotiri (Promontory) is located at the southwestern tip of the island, 15 km from Fira. It is a real promontory, with sheer cliff shores stretching three miles west of the southernmost part of Santorini.

DAY 5. SANTORINI 5 HOURS WINE TOUR

DAY 2. ATHENS–ATHENS CITY TOUR & ACROPOLIS MUSEUM

From the Acropolis to Omonia Square and with a half-day sightseeing and Acropolis museum tour, you’ll see all the famous sites of ancient and modern Athens. The Athens half-day tour departs for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. It is the only stadium built out of white marble. Proceed and pass by Zappeion and the Temple of Olympian Zeus.  You will then pass the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Continue passing by the National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church, and finally Acropolis.Visit Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon and Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens. Continue the expert-guided Athens sightseeing and museum tour with a pleasant short walk, passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the Acropolis museum. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 3. PIRAEUS-MYKONOS

Breakfast and transportation to the cruise pier and embark on your cruise ship for a 3 days magical cruise to the Greek Islands of Mykonos, Patmos, Heraklion, Santorini, and Kusadasi (Turkey). In the afternoon reach the island of Mykonos and take some free time to walk around the town and observe one of the most “characteristic” Cycladic Islands. Sail off.

DAY 4. MYKONOS-KUSADASI-PATMOS

Breakfast on board Early in the morning, you will reach Kusadasi port in Turkey. A tour to the Ancient Ephesus will follow The city was dedicated to the goddess Artemis, and its Artemision, a temple in her honor, took 120 years to complete and was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Ephesus later became the second-largest city in the Roman Empire, at one time home to a quarter-million people. It was the first and most significant city in the Roman province of Asia and one of its key ports. Millennia ago the Aegean receded west, stranding the city on its sun-seared hillsides. It is believed the Virgin Mary lived and died here, and that Paul wrote his Letter to the Ephesians here. It was the most significant Christian city between Rome and Antioch Ephesus is rivaled only by the Forum and the Acropolis as one of the complete classical cities in Europe, even though only 13% of the city has been uncovered! Sail-off with next destination the island of Patmos In Patmos you will visit the island’s capital (Chora) then the Monastery of St. John and finally the cave where it was revealed toJohn the Evangelist the Apocalypse. Departure in the evening.

DAY 5. PATMOS-HERAKLION-SANTORINI

Breakfast on board Early morning arrival in Heraklion, the capital of Crete Island Have 3 hrs approximately, free in order to explore Heraklion. In the afternoon at Santorini, which differs from the rest of the Cycladic islands, due to its interesting geological structure, which was the result of eruptions of a now inactive volcano. Free time on your own to admire Greece’s best-known island, the beautiful town of Fira, the amazing sunset (optional tour to Oia Village) Around 21.00 pm the ship will sail off.

DAY 6. SANTORINI-PIRAEUS-ATHENS-WALKING FOOD TOUR IN ATHENS
