Day 1: Athens Arrival
Reception at Athens airport by our driver, transfer to your hotel, and check-in. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax or take a stroll through the vibrant streets of Athens.

Day 2: Arrival in Thessaloniki via Pelion
Journey north toward Thessaloniki. En route, we stop to visit Pelion, the legendary “Mountain of the Centaurs.” Arrive in Thessaloniki in the early afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local Tsipouradiko featuring authentic Greek specialties paired with traditional Tsipouro.

Day 3: Philippi, Kavala & Lydia Baptismal Site
Discover Kavala (ancient Neapolis / Christoupoli), Greece’s prettiest mainland port, where Apostle Paul landed with Timothy, Silas, and Luke. Walk where biblical figures walked and view the Roman Aqueduct and Acropolis ruins. Continue to Philippi to see the baptismal site where Lydia accepted Christ, and visit the Roman crypt thought to have served as Paul’s prison.

Day 4: Mount Athos Boat Cruise & Chalkidiki
Travel to Chalkidiki to the port of Ouranoupolis. Board a boat to cruise around the holy peninsula of Mount Athos to view its historic monasteries from the water. As no woman has set foot on the monastic republic for over 1,000 years, a monk traditionally greets the vessel to bless passengers. Return to Ouranoupolis for a scenic tour of Chalkidiki.

Day 5: Thessaloniki Monuments, Pella & Veria
Bring the New Testament books of Thessalonians to life as you tour Thessaloniki’s ancient ramparts, the Roman Forum, St. George Church, the Galerius Arch, and the basilicas of St. Demetrius and St. Sophia. Stop at Pella, Alexander the Great’s capital, before heading to Veria to view Paul’s Bema and scripture plaques. Conclude the day with a visit to King Philip II’s tomb in Vergina.

Day 6: Meteora Monasteries & Delphi
Head southwest to Meteora, where awe-inspiring 14th-century Byzantine monasteries perch atop towering grey rock pillars. Explore these spiritual sanctuaries housing rare icons and frescoes. After lunch, journey south toward Delphi.

Day 7: Delphi Sanctuary & Ancient Olympia
Explore Delphi, the ancient sanctuary of Apollo, visiting the archaeological museum (home to the exquisite bronze Charioteer), the Temple of Apollo, and the Castalia Springs. Cross the magnificent Rio-Antirrio bridge into the Peloponnese and arrive in the lush green valley of Ancient Olympia.

Day 8: Ancient Olympia, Mystras & Sparta
Morning tour of Olympia’s ancient stadium, the Temple of Zeus, and athletic grounds where the Olympic spirit was born. Travel southeast through the wild slopes of the Mani peninsula and Lakonia to explore the Byzantine acropolis city of Mystras.

Day 9: Mycenae, Ancient Corinth & Night Ferry to Crete
Explore Mycenae, a major center of Bronze Age Greek culture featuring the Lion Gate and Agamemnon’s Beehive Tomb. Continue to Ancient Corinth, where Paul preached and was inspired to write his famous epistles. Walk along the same stone paths he once traversed. In the evening, transfer to the port of Piraeus to board the overnight ferry to Crete.

Day 10: Heraklion & Palace of Knossos

Day 11: Kali Limenes (St. Paul’s Footsteps), Gortys & Zaros
Follow the journey of Apostle Paul, who landed as a prisoner at Kali Limenes on southern Crete. Visit the ancient Roman capital of Gortys, site of Crete’s first Christian church and the seat of Bishop Titus, followed by a scenic mountain stop in Zaros.

Day 12: Agios Nikolaos, Spinalonga Island & Plaka
Travel to eastern Crete to explore the picturesque coastal town of Agios Nikolaos, take a boat across to the historic island fortress of Spinalonga, and stroll through the charming seaside village of Plaka.

Day 13: Cretan Mountain Tour & Return Ferry
Ascend the slopes of Psiloritis mountain toward Anogia and the Ida plateau. Visit the small stone shepherd shelters (mitata) and the mountain church of Saint Iakinthos. Enjoy an authentic farmhouse lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients at Giannis Petoussis tavern in Drossia. Stop at Doxa viewpoint for traditional mountain tea before heading back to Heraklion port for the overnight ferry back to Piraeus.
